As out theme this year is “Diversity Management”, we are more than happy to tell you that during the project we have been co-operating with Feedback Dialog, that is a specialist in the very same topic. Once we met them for the first time, they even gave us a book on cultures to read, just to get more familiar with the topic.
Now, we are happy to also tell that Feedback Dialog is also attending our closing event, and they will be talking about our theme. There will also be space for questions and answers.
But why are they interested actually? This is what they told us;
“ FeedbackDialog, including its´ brands itim international and the Hofstede centre, find it important that students get the opportunity to bring their knowledge into play when analyzing organizations/future employers. To support students in discovering what kind of culture and management techniques are used in organizations, we made available our organizational culture analysis instrument.”
What they refer here that we got to use their tool for assessing cultural aspects in the companies we visited in San Francisco area. They continue by saying that “ It´s great to see the managers of the future develop and learn and we´re proud that we can support this. Hopefully our support contributes to making Aalto´s management students become the people managers of the future, taking into account mankind´s universal wish to develop.”
As said, Feedback Dialog will be part of our closing event, and there will also be Egbert, the CEO os FeedbackDialog, itim international and the Hofstede centre. He has close to 10 years experience of international HR and organizational development and now he is working on to “cross-fertilize” HR and Management by challenging common practices.
